Yes. Sessions are designed for all abilities, including complete beginners. Coaching is structured so every child can progress at their own pace.
Children can start from age 4 in the Rising Stars group (4β6), then progress through Game Changers (7β9) and Future Champions (10+).
No equipment is needed as bats and balls are provided for beginners. As players progress, guidance can be given on suitable equipment.
Players must wear appropriate sports clothing and proper trainers with grip. Footwear such as crocs, sandals, or heels is not permitted as it is unsuitable for training and may increase the risk of injury.
Players are grouped into Rising Stars (4β6), Game Changers (7β9), and Future Champions (10+) to ensure coaching is matched to their age and development level.
Each stage follows a clear progression pathway. For example, in Rising Stars, children can earn awards as they develop:
This system helps track progress and build confidence at every stage of the academy.
An introduction programme focusing on coordination, basic movement, and fun learning through table tennis.
A development stage focusing on skill-building, consistency, and introducing structured gameplay.
Future Champions (10+) is a structured coaching group for players aged 10 and above. It supports all abilities, from beginners to developing and competitive players, with coaching tailored to individual progress.
Membership gives access to structured coaching sessions within the correct age group (Rising Stars, Game Changers, or Future Champions). Players are placed based on age and development level.
There are two membership options: monthly Direct Debit membership and annual membership. Pay As You Go (PAYG) is also available as a flexible non-membership option for casual attendance.
Pay As You Go requires no commitment. Direct Debit membership is flexible and can be cancelled at any time. Annual membership is a full-year commitment, offering the best value and additional benefits.
Annual Memberships purchased before 1st August 2026 will renew on 1st August 2027, giving members at least 14 months before their first renewal.
After 1st August 2026, Annual Memberships run for 12 months from the date of purchase and renew on the anniversary of that date.
Promotional offers or introductory membership periods may be available from time to time and will be clearly stated at the point of purchase.
Membership 1-to-1 discounts vary by age group because coaching sessions are structured differently for each age range, based on session length and development needs.
